6 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) National Company for Learning & Education (NCLE) signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aaj Real Estate Investments Company and Yamami Holdings Company, owners of Refan Company for Operation & Maintenance Limited (Refan Company).

 

2) National Agriculture Marketing Co. (Thimar) said that the reason for applying over the counter (OTC) trading is related to the delay in publishing financial statements for Q3 2019, Q4 2019, Q1 2020 and Q2 2020.

 

3) Tourism Enterprise Co.'s (Shams) board of directors approved the resignation of the managing director and acting CEO, Nader R. Al Nasser, submitted on August 31, 2020.

 

4) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) imposed a fine of SAR 80,000 on Ash-Sharqiyah Development Co. for violating the regulatory rules related to offering of securities and continuing obligations, as well as disclosure of incorrect information for financial period ending March 31, 2020.

 

5) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment issued 506 new licenses to foreign companies in the first half of 2020, compared to 586 licenses a year earlier.

 

6) Brent crude on Friday declined $1.41 to reach $42.66 per barrel. WTI Crude also decreased $1.60 to reach $39.77/bbl.
