Al Kathiri says its concrete plant received Class-A rating from Riyadh Municipality

Al Kathiri Holding Co. . said, on Dec. 7, its ready-mix concrete plant obtained Classification-A from the materials and research department of the General Administration of Operation and Maintenance at Riyadh Municipality.

The classification indicates that the specified principles and standards have been applied to the factory, which means that ready-mix concrete plant is among the superior factories operating in Riyadh, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Al Kathiri affirmed its commitment to implement the quality strategy, indicating that this will have a positive impact to increase the company's chances of obtaining future projects.

The materials and research department of the General Administration of Operation and Maintenance was established to follow up the works performed across Riyadh, by supervising contractors implementation, and the rehabilitation of mixers and their operation. This is through inspection tours and random samples.

The materials and research department has been provided with the latest and the best standard equipment and devices to monitor the materials quality, aiming to verify the tests accuracy and the speed in completion.
