Buruj board recommends appointment of new audit committee members

Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors recommended appointing new audit committee members for the current three-year term ending March 8, 2022, during its meeting held on Dec. 21, 2020, the insurer said in a bourse filing.

Abdulrahman Al Sultan will be appointed as the head of the audit committee.

Al Sultan holds a master’s degree in applied finance from University of Newcastle and a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Saud University.

The committee will also include Zainul Abidin Abdullah, and Mishaal Abdulmohsen Al Sulaiman.

The board proposal is subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting, the statement added.
