NCLE to continue offering tuition fee discounts in second semester

National Company for Learning & Education's (NCLE) board of directors approved today, Jan. 14, 2021, offering discounts on the second semester tuition fees of the current academic year 2020/2021 for students in all grades.

The second semester tuitions' discounts will start from 50% for the KG and grade 1, with the remaining grades offered between 10% and 30%, the company said in a bourse filing.

The company also confirmed its readiness to provide all services online through its virtual platforms for all students.

However, NCLE said that such a decision will impact its financials during the current fiscal, adding that the impact cannot be quantified currently given it will vary depending on the student's number throughout the second academic semester.

The company’s decision came following the Saudi Ministry of Education announcement on Jan. 13, 2021, that students in all levels of public, university, and technical education will continue to pursue studies through remote learning for the second semester of the academic year in line with the set previous mechanism.
