Saudi Arabia may become important logistics center for Sputnik V, AstraZeneca in MENA: RDIF

Saudi Arabia may become a very important logistics center in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for Sputnik V and its combination with AstraZeneca, Bloomberg Asharq reported, citing Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

 

RDIF is in positive talks with the Saudi authorities for the production of Sputnik V in the Kingdom and its distribution across the MENA region.

 

Russia has two partners in the Kingdom, Dmitriev added, noting that there are several opportunities to expand Sputnik V use, which will be centered in Makkah.
