HRSD ministry gives further details about unified employment platform

Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resource and Social Development, said the Saudi Cabinet's approval to develop the unified national platform for employment reflects the great support received by the local labor market, which led to improving its efficiency in the public and private sectors to keep pace with international best practices.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) said in a statement that the platform includes a database of job seekers in the public and private sectors and aims to improve the efficiency of the procedures related to receiving and processing employment requirements for all relevant parties, including individuals as well as the public and private sectors.

The platform will help achieve the following:

- Documenting the procedures of job ads for entities;

- Managing job applicants' accounts, access privileges, as well as writing and updating resumes on the platform and automatically verifying the resume data through integration with external parties;

- Documenting basic data and information for job seekers, as well as their qualifications and specializations to ensure the correctness and quality of data through automatic linking to the relevant authorities;

- Providing all kinds of outputs, standard dashboards, reports and statistics;

- Automating processes;

- Registering appointment documents.

The Ministry said that the current data of the public and private employment authorities will be transferred to the platform that will be developed in stages to ensure the continuation of the projects and initiatives of the public and private employment authorities.

Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet, in a meeting held on Feb. 2, 2021, approved the establishment of a unified national platform for employment, according to the data compiled by Argaam.
