Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) is set to launch soon a program for the localization of jobs lawyers, in addition to other professions in the education sector, as well as restaurants, cafes, and hypermarkets, said HRSD Minister Ahmed Al-Rajhi.

The ministry seeks to help university students work during their leisure time through flexible work systems.

The statements came during the minister's meeting with members of the National Committee for Contractors (NCC) and the Consulting Offices National Committee.

The ministry conducted a study to improve the conditions of occupational safety and security employees, who are working under contracts with ministries, quasi-governmental bodies, and the private sector, and to set minimum wages for them. He added that the initiative of enhancing the contracting relationship will contribute to favoring Saudi citizens in the labor market.

According to Al-Rajhi, more than 420,000 citizens joined the labor market during 2019 and 2020.
