Saudi real estate authority to employ 11,200 citizens via localization program

Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate General Authority (REGA) is planning to launch a localization program for jobs in the real estate sector, in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf).

 

The program aims to raise the efficiency of human capital, train and employ 11,200 citizens, according to a circular by the Council of Saudi Chambers.

 

The authority is in the process of implementing a comprehensive strategy for the real estate sector to support the national cadres and provide them with more qualitative expertise to enable them in accordance with the highest globally applicable standards.

 

In March 2020, Hadaf and REGA signed an agreement to train and employ over 11,000 researchers and job seekers wishing to work in the real estate sector as part of the localization program, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

Under the agreement, the authority is responsible, through the Saudi Real Estate Institute, to prepare and implement training for the following program, namely Director of the Owners' Union, Director of Facilities, Real Estate Brokerage, and Marketing Specialist.
