Saudi Arabia to float assets in PIF’s portfolio in 2021, next few years

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Saudi Arabia will float a number of assets in the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) portfolio this year and within the next few years, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said.

Any new entity established by the fund is usually floated within the first five years of profitability.

This applies to NEOM, The Red Sea, Qiddiya, Soudah Development Co., etc., the Crown Prince explained.

The PIF disposes of any asset that reached maturity. If the asset is publicly-listed, the fund will reduce its holding in that asset, the Crown Prince concluded.
