Saudi Arabia recorded 999 COVID-19 cases today, May 4, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 421,300, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,005, raising the total number of recovered cases to 404,707 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,587, of which 1,356 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,006.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 398, followed by Makkah (241), Eastern Province (111), Asir (50) and Madinah (48).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 68,997 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 17.17 million.

 

Almost 9.79 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
