Oil prices decline ahead of OPEC report

Oil prices declined on Tuesday amid developments following a cyberattack that shut down a major pipeline in the United States, and ahead of the OPEC monthly report.

 

Colonial Pipeline, a major supplier of fuel in the US, said most services are expected to resume by the end of the week

 

International benchmark Brent crude was trading down 0.6% at $67.88 per barrel, at 9.48 am Makkah time.

 

WTI crude fell 0.6% to $64.51 per barrel.

 

OPEC will release its monthly market report later today, and the US Energy Information Administration will also unveil its short-term energy outlook.
