Zoujaj says acting general manager resigns, assigns AlBassam duties

The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) announced that its board of directors accepted the resignation of Yousef Al-Tuwaijri from the acting general manager position. 

Al-Tuwaijri tendered his resignation today, May 26, 2021, citing personal reasons. 

The company said in a bourse statement that Al-Tuwaijri's last working day will be on July 31, 2021. 

Meanwhile, the board of directors assigned board member Bassam  AlBassam, to run the company's business starting Aug. 1, until the appointment of a new general manager. 

AlBassam was a member of Zoujaj board of directors since April 2020 and is also Deputy Governor for Real Estate Affairs in the Real Estate General Authority (REGA). 

Al-Tuwaijri was appointed as acting general manager as of Jan. 1, 2019, according to data compiled by Argaam.
