HRSD ministry employs 400,000 nationals in partnership with private sector since 2018: official

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Developmentconcluded 11 localization agreements in 11 sectors with the private sector, employing more than 400,000 nationals since 2018, Abdullah Abuthnain, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, said.

 

The ministry is keen to improve work environment and boost the localization ratio, in line with Vision 2030. The localization program targets 115,000 jobs in six sectors and more than 100 professions.

 

The ministry’s new strategy focuses on structural reforms, sustainable job opportunities and stimulating demand for national workforce, Abuthnain added.
