ADX to cut trading fees by 50%, extend trading hours

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced that it reduced its trading commissions by 50% and will extend its trading time by one hour, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, as of Oct. 3.

 

The commissions will be reduced to 0.025% from 0.05%, the bourse's second cut in 2021 and the third in three years, ADX said in a statement.

 

The timing extension aims to bring ADX in line with the operating hours of many global markets, it said.

 

In addition, the move aims to boost market activity and deepen liquidity.
