Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman

Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that markets must be regulated otherwise the situation will be like what happened before the OPEC+ agreement.

Oil production will be responsibly managed to ensure a response to the market, Prince Abdulaziz noted, affirming that markets will not be left for surprises.

“OPEC+ is not a cartel, but a group of responsible producers and market regulators,” the Saudi minister added.

Prince Abdulaziz said that talks were held with the US on the oil market, concluding that gradual output increases is the right choice.
