Saudi Arabia records 1,024 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,024 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 2, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 558,106, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 298, raising the total number of recovered cases to 542,413 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Critical cases totaled 69.

 

The Kingdom reported one death, with the death toll standing at 8,879.

 

Saudi Arabia concluded nearly 85,710 new tests, while the number of vaccine doses increased to 51.08 million.
