Argaam announces ‘Argaam Recognition Award 2021’ for brokerage firms, fund managers

Argaam Financial Portal is pleased to launch the new edition of “Argaam Recognition Award 2021” to select the best fund managers and IPO lead managers in the Saudi market. Winners in all categories will be revealed in a virtual ceremony on Monday, Feb. 21.

Argaam Recognition Award recognizes the professional excellence of fund and IPO lead managers in the Saudi market. The Award honors the best mutual funds with the highest returns in various investment terms and the best IPO lead managers with the highest subscription ratios in the Main Market (Tadawul) and Nomu – Parallel Market. 

The Award was rolled out in 2017, and garnered remarkable interest from the Saudi business community.

It seeks to support excellence, boost transparency and encourage market participants to target the best performance.

Commenting on the award, Abedraboh Zedan, Head of Financial Data & Statistics Manager at Argaam, said: “The Award mainly aims to stimulate financial firms, as well as fund managers and IPO lead managers to adopt the highest transparency standards and target the best performance, to serve the investment goals of Saudi investors."

The Award categories are based on transparent, objective standards that track the actual performance of competitors and honor their success. 

Argaam Recognition Award is granted to the following three categories: 

1) Best-Performing Mutual Fund for 2021 for one, three and five year-term. 

2) Best IPO Lead Manager for 2021. 

3) Best Trading Platform and Best Brokerage Company (Customer Service) for 2021.

The list of winners will be selected by Argaam voters.

Two new categories will be added to the 2021 edition of Argaam Recognition Awards: Best-Performing Sharia-compliant Mutual Fund for 2021 for one, three and five year-term and Best Financial Advisor on Tadawul and Nomu, Zedan added.
