Tadawul closes for Saudi Founding Day

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) is closed today, Feb. 22, to celebrate the Saudi Founding Day.

 

Trading will resume on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

 

The market main index closed 0.8% higher, on Monday, Feb. 21, at 12,562 points (+98 points), hitting the highest closing since July 2006. It also witnessed active trading worth about SAR 11.5 billion – the highest in more than two months.

 

The index gains reached about 1,300 points and 11.3% year-to-date.
