Gold prices fell on Friday, heading for their worst week since the end of January, amid the latest developments about the Russian-Ukrainian talks.
Gold futures for June fell 0.47%, or $9.20, to $1,934 per ounce. Spot gold slipped 0.5% to $1,933 per ounce, as of 09:50 Makkah time.
Silver futures for May delivery shed 0.75% to $25.43 per ounce.
Spot prices of platinum added 0.18% to $1,027 per ounce. Spot palladium gained 3.51% to 2,605 per ounce.
The US Dollar Index is used to measure the value of the dollar against a basket of six world currencies edged up 0.1% to 98.069 points.
