Saudi Ceramics says gas supplies resume to all plants, return to full production capacities

Saudi Ceramic Co. announced the resumption of gas supplies to all its factories as of May 5 and return to full production capacities as of today, May 8, the company said in a bourse statement.

Regular maintenance work, coinciding with the temporary suspension of gas supplies, has also been completed.

The suspension did not affect the company's ability to fulfill its obligations to customers, the statement indicated. The financial impact of this suspension will not be significant and will be reflected on the Q2 2022 results.

According to data compiled by Argaam, Saudi Ceramics announced, on April 27, receiving an official notification from Natural Gas Distribution Co. regarding a temporary suspension of natural gas supplies for eight days, starting from May 1.

The move came on the back of maintenance work in the main supply lines of Saudi Aramco.
