Saudi Cable’s shareholders to discuss business continuity plan on May 22

Saudi Cable Co. (SCC) invited its shareholders for a meeting on May 22 to discuss the company's continuity plan, according to a bourse filing. 

 

The chairman and the board of directors will be authorized to discuss and answer  shareholders’ inquiries during the meeting. 

 

Each shareholder registered with the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) by the end of the trading session prior to the meeting has the right to attend. 

 

Saudi Cable’s losses widened to SAR 194.3 million in 2021, compared to SAR 55 million in 2020, data compiled by Argaam showed. 

 

Accordingly, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced yesterday, May 17, extending the trading halt on Saudi Cable shares until the company addresses the auditor’s abstention from expressing an opinion on its financial results.
