A total of 10,000 job opportunities were localized in the transport sector since the beginning of 2022, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services.

The ministry stated that it targets the Saudization of 45,000 jobs by the end of the year, according to the plan launched in 2021.

Saudization is a key pillar and a main objective in the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS), the ministry added.

The Saudization Committee of the Transport and Logistics System hired more than 10,000 Saudi men and women during H1 2022, said Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser.

The localization of licensed aviation professions will provide more than 4,000 job opportunities for Saudi men and women. Accordingly, the move will support the local labor sector and meet the labor market demand, Al-Jasser noted.
