Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman opened today, July 16, the "Jeddah Security and Development Summit" with the participation of leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, the US.

 

The Saudi Crown Prince delivered the opening speech.

 

In his speech, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said the summit is held at a time when the world is witnessing big challenges, hoping the summit to face global challenges.

 

The world’s economy is linked to stability of energy prices, noting that clean energy investments should continue.

 

Moreover, Prince Mohammed bin Salman added that the Kingdom announced raising production capacity to 13 million barrels.

 

He concluded that the region’s stability requires political solutions in Syria and Libya.
