Crown Prince expects Saudi Arabia’s population to reach 50-60 million by 2030

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Saudi Arabia is expected to see its population reach 50 to 60 million by 2030, with half being foreigners.

 

Speaking to reporters after unveiling the designs of The Line project, the Crown Prince said Riyadh will accommodate a population of 25 million, while NEOM will take care of 10 million people.

 

Meanwhile, he indicated that the construction of the first phase of NEOM has begun and will be completed by 2030 to host 1.5 million residents, which will increase to nine million by 2045.
