HRSD issues procedural guide to localize consulting services activity

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) issued a procedural guide for the decision of consulting services’ localization, under which 35% of consulting professions and businesses will be localized as of April 6, 2023, as part of the first phase.

 

The second phase will see this rate extended to 40% as of March 24, 2024.

 

The ministry mentioned the targeted activities of this decision in the procedural guide, indicating that it applies to all establishments classified under the consulting services activity.

 

The move must not conflict with the localization rates of other decisions that apply to other employees of the facility under the Nitaqat program.

 

The decision will be applied to new contracts concluded after the rate comes into effect for the aforementioned first and second phases.
