ACWA Power says 100 MW central tower operational in Dubai’s Noor Energy project

ACWA Power Co. announced the start of commercial operation of the 100-megawatt (MW) central tower in Noor Energy 1 P.S.C on Feb. 20, according to Tadawul statement

 

The Noor Energy 1 project is the fourth phase of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai.

 

The total capacity under commercial operation reached 517 MW out of a total of 950 MW, which is generated by concentrated solar power (CSP) and photovoltaic (PV) panels, the statement said.

 

The financial impact from the full capacity of 950 MW is expected to reflect as of Q1 2024.

 

According to the data available on Argaam, ACWA Power owns 25% of Noor Energy 1.
