Unified GCC tourist visa project to take place within specific timeframe

The GCC Interior Ministers discussed implementing the unified GCC tourist visa project according to a specific timeframe in their meeting today, Nov. 8 in Muscat.

 

Jasem Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), said that the unified GCC tourist visa project is a new achievement added to the Council’s accomplishments.

 

The ministers also discussed the launch of the electronic linking of traffic violations between the GCC countries in its first phase. They also directed the preparation of a comprehensive GCC strategy to combat drugs and reviewing security awareness campaigns.
