Equipment House signs exclusive distribution deal with Haier Germany

Scientific and Medical Equipment House Co. (Equipment House) signed yesterday, January 31, an exclusive distribution agreement with Haier Germany at the 49th Arab Health Medical Expo, which takes place in Dubai from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1.

The agreement aims to expand Equipment House’s customer base and its portfolio of exclusive agencies for medical equipment companies in the Kingdom, a distinction that the company holds in the Middle East, the company said in a statement on Tadawul.

Equipment House highlighted its keenness to achieve its commercial goals, expecting a financial impact to appear by Q4 2024.

Any new developments regarding this agreement will be announced in a timely manner, the company noted.

Equipment House’s CEO, Barakat bin Saud Al-Arifi, said that the exclusive distribution agreement with Haier Germany will support the company’s current expansion plans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This step, he explained, is part of the company's steps to achieve its strategic goals and expand the scope of its business by supplying, selling, and distributing medical devices to international companies in the Kingdom.

Equipment House specializes in the sale, operation, and maintenance of medical devices through its commercial business in the company, while Haier Germany specializes in the sale and distribution of surgical devices across the world.
