FIPCO wins Excellence Award in Local Content for Large Establishments

Filing and Packing Materials Manufacturing Co. stated that it won first place in the private sector category and received the Excellence Award in Local Content For Large Establishments in the industrial and mining sector from the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA).

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said it was chosen among its competitors of large establishments in the industrial and mining sector to be crowned first after successfully passing all evaluations and qualification criteria developed by specialized experts and independent arbitrators.

This was based on FIPCO’s constant keenness to play its role towards society and contribution to achieving the goals of the wise leadership by raising the proportion of local content in the national economy.

Since local content is one of the most prominent standards in evaluating companies, FIPCO developed a strategic plan and harnessed all available capabilities to increase its local content score.

The local content focuses on raising and maximizing the national purchasing power aimed at building a strong and sustainable economy.

FIPCO’s obtaining a high local content score compared to companies operating in the industrial and mining sector will be significantly reflected on the company’s customers, raising the added value for them.
