Aramco shareholders elect board members for new 3-year term

Saudi Arabian Oil Co.'s (Saudi Aramco) shareholders approved the election of board members for the upcoming three-year term beginning July 1, 2024.

 

The approval took place during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on May 6, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The newly-elected members are Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Andrew Liveris, Lynn Elsenhans, Mark Weinberger, Stuart Gulliver, Robert Dudley, and Khaled Al-Dabbagh.

 

The company's President and CEO also serves on the board of directors, as stated in the company's bylaws, the statement added.

 

In accordance with the company's bylaws, the state appointed Al-Rumayyan as Chairman and Al-Assaf as Deputy Chairman.
