Nayifat says unable to timely disclose H1 2024 results

Nayifat Finance Co. announced its inability to disclose its financial results for the six-month period ended June 30, 2024, within the specified deadline, according to a Tadawul statement today, Aug. 11.

The company attributed the delay to the non-completion of the external audit of the financial statements. Work is still underway to submit the external audit requirements to finalize the audit process for publishing the first-half results as soon as possible, it added.

The financial statements will be issued upon receipt of the final draft and the external auditor’s report after getting the required approvals.

The external auditor is projected to complete the audit process and disclose the interim financial statements no later than Sept. 8, Nayifat noted.

Procedures for suspending the trading of listed securities will be applied in accordance with the listing rules. The company will announce updates on the possible inability to publish the financial results on a monthly basis, while adhering to the announcement without delay in case of any material developments.
