REGA to start registering real estate plots in 10 Riyadh areas in Sept.

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) will start the registration of 57,570 real estate plots in 10 neighborhoods in Riyadh, from Sept. 1 until Dec. 5, 2024.

The authority explained that the 10 neighborhoods are Al-Muather Al-Shamali, Al-Murabba’, Al-Malaz, Al-Ulia, Al-Namuthajiyah, Al-Zahraa, Al-Nasiriyah, Al-Mu’tamarat, Al-Dhabat, and Namar.

REGA pointed out that the neighborhoods were selected according to specific criteria, and the remaining areas and neighborhoods that will benefit from the real estate registry will be announced later.

The authority called on the owners of properties located within the areas that benefit from the real estate registry to verify the property’s title deed and the availability of the necessary requirements, and to register their properties on the real estate registry platform.

Starting from the date set for the start of registration, an ownership registration instrument will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, REGA noted, adding that the new ownership registration instrument will include the property’s data, description, use, condition, and subsequent rights and obligations, as well as the data of its owner.
