Local content in Saudi housing sector exceeds 50%: Al-Hogail

The contribution of local content in the housing sector exceeded 50%, said Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing Majed Al-Hogail.

 

During a session at the Local Content Forum, Al-Hogail added that the ministry is working on several initiatives to further increase the share of local content.

 

He emphasized that incentive programs and workforce localization are key factors for the sustainability and continued growth of local products.

 

The minister also mentioned that Saudi Arabia is committed to adopting modern technologies in the construction sector to become the largest and most distinguished in the region, leveraging the high demand for construction and development.
