First Mills wins MEIRA Award for annual report released in collaboration with Argaam

First Milling Co. (First Mills) - a leading milling player in the Kingdom - won the first-place award for the Best 1 Year Post IPO Annual Report, from the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA).

Meanwhile, the company won the third-place award for the Best Printed 2023 Annual Report – Small-Cap, which was prepared in cooperation with Argaam. The digital version of the report for the year 2023 was also shortlisted among five competitors.

First Mills received the awards during the annual MEIRA Awards Ceremony 2024, which was held from December 11-12 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, after it passed the evaluation conducted by the jury, which included a wide range of standards that were applied to the best reports issued in the Middle East.

Argaam Investment Co., which owns Argaam portal, worked with First Mills through an agreement to provide support and advisory services during the stages of preparing its annual report.  Argaam’s team was keen to devote their expertise in the field of reporting and best practices of investor relations to develop the concept, design and content of the annual report of 2023. Argaam is also pleased to be a partner of First Mills for the next two years.

It’s noteworthy that MEIRA is considered the largest event specialized in the field of investor relations in the Middle East region, which highlights the best practices and professional standards in this field, with a focus on applying corporate governance principles. This event also aims to honor leading companies that have distinguished themselves in the investor relations sector.
