City Cement Co.'s plant

City Cement Co. said that the adjustment in fuel product prices will result in a 7% increase in production costs, according to a Tadawul statement.

The cement producer joined the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program in 2024 to minimize the financial impact of changes in fuel product prices, the statement added.

City Cement earlier received a notice from Saudi Aramco on adjusting prices of fuel products from Jan. 1, Argaam reported earlier.

The financial impact of this development is expected to be reflected in the company’s Q1 2025 results, the statement noted.
