Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co., SADARA Chemical Co. and the Saudi Acrylic Acid Co. (SAAC) are to start operations of their joint venture, n-butanol (NBA) plant by the second quarter of 2015; as reported by ICIS.

 

The new Joint venture is located in Tasnee Petrochemicals complex in Jubail Industrial City and will be operated by Tasnee.

 

Saudi Kayan is a Petrochemical producer 35% owned by SABIC.

 

SADARA is a joint venture between ARAMCO and Dow Chemicals Company aiming at establishing and operating a chemicals complex in Jubail industrial city2.

 

SAAC is a joint venture between SAHARA petrochemicals Co., TSOC and Tasnee that was established as a holding company for investments in other projects including the Integrated Acrylates Complex project.
