40% completion of construction work of Sadara complex in Jubail

“The construction work of Sadara chemical complex in Jubail industrial city2 is 40% complete while the engineering and designing work is 85% complete”; declared by the CFO of Sadara chemicals company Mr. Lochiano Polo on the sidelines of Meed conference in Manama.

 Sadara chemicals is SAR 75bn investments joint venture between ARAMCO and Dow chemicals company aiming at establishing and operating a chemicals complex in Jubail industrial city2.

The project is considered to be the world’s largest chemical industrial complex consisting of 26 manufacturing units. The first production unit is expected to go on stream in H2 of 2015 with the project’s complete operations in 2016.
