The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) signed on Tuesday a renewable two-year agreement with Saudi Railway Co. to provide logistics services, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse (Tadawul).

 

Under the deal, Bahri will provide shipping and transport services for all imports to the kingdom through an electronic tracking system.

 

No further details were disclosed about the deal.

 

The parties expect trial transport operations to begin in Q4 2017, the statement said, adding that financial impact will be reflected in the same quarter.
