Kuwait’s Gulf Investment Corporation has acquired a 35 percent minority stake in Saudi Arabia’s Sudair Pharmaceuticals Co., the investment company said on Wednesday.
Sudair Pharmaceuticals is developing the Sudair Specialized Pharmaceuticals Complex, in which advanced cancer treatment drugs are being developed for the first time in the Middle East.
The 77,000 square meter project comprises a plant for chemotherapy drugs, as well as administrative offices, a research center and a training academy.
