04/07/2017 Argaam

The number of non-Qatari investors in the Qatar Exchange declined last month, data compiled by Argaam showed.

The number of foreign investors dropped by 738 month-on-month (MoM) to 35,990 in June, while the number of GCC investors fell by 345 MoM.

The number of Qatari corporate investors increased by 20 MoM.

The Qatar Exchange (QE) benchmark fell by 9 percent last month, as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates severed their ties with Doha, accusing it of supporting and funding extremist groups.
