Al Rajhi, NCB Capital broker the most deals in June

Al Rajhi Capital has maintained its position as the top brokerage firm operating in Saudi Arabia for the seventh straight month in June, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

The investment arm of Al Rajhi Bank brokered up to 17 percent (SAR 18.6 billion) of total market transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

 

NCB Capital moved up one notch to the second position, accounting for 16.3 percent or SAR 17.9 billion of total market trading value during the month.

 

Aljazira Capital fell to the third position, brokering up to SAR 14.1 billion of total market transactions.

 

The combined trading value for listed firms saw a decline of SAR 20 billion month-on-month to SAR 109.5 billion in June.

 

In the Nomu parallel market, Aljazira Capital was the leading brokerage firm by market share last month, followed by Saudi Fransi Capital.

 

Aljazira Capital brokered up to 16.2 percent, or SAR 22.4 million, of total equity transactions on Nomu. 

 

Meanwhile, Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm in terms of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in April, executing 99.9 percent (SAR 131 million) of the total trading activity during the month.
