Al Sorayai Trading names new CEO

Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group Co. has appointed Wael Al Rashid as chief executive officer after former CEO Vassilis Agapitos submitted his resignation on Wednesday for personal reasons.

 

The resignation has been accepted by the board of directors.

 

Al Rashid is currently a board member at Saudi Bio-Acids Co. and a board member at Aldrees Industrial and Trading Co. (Alitco), the company said in a statement.

 

He has over 25 years of experience. Al Rashid previously served as the vice president of United Wires Factories Co.
