Saudi Ground Services Co (SGS) has hired 459 employees in the first half of 2017 of which 350 are citizens, chief executive Qaid Al-Otaibi told Alriyadh newspaper on Tuesday.
The Kingdom’s leading ground handling services company has restricted the employment of expatriates to ground equipment driving jobs category.
Over the last 30 months as many as 2,346 nationals were hired and trained, while the total number of new employees stood at 2,504, Al-Otaibi added.
In June, the Saudi labor ministry imposed a fine of SAR 2 million on SGS for employing expats in off-limit positions, Argaam earlier reported.
