Saudi Arabia to open media office in Moscow

Saudi Arabia is to open a new bilingual media office in Moscow by January 2018, the Kingdom’s minister of culture and information Awwad Al-Awwad said in a statement.

This came in the wake of King Salman’s visit to Russia.

The office will boost communication and cultural exchange between the two countries and further strengthen the Saudi-Russian ties, he said.

The ministry has launched several new initiatives in the areas of new media and social networking, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
