Saudi bank lending drops marginally in November

Saudi bank lending to local private sector and non-financial public institutions dropped by 1 percent and 6 percent respectively in November year-on-year (YoY), figures released by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

Domestic credit to the private sector dropped to SAR 1.41 trillion in November from SAR 1.42 a year earlier. While bank loans to non-financial public institutions slumped 6 percent to SAR 47.8 billion.
