Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) expects a financial impact of SAR 26 million in Q1 2018 from maintenance shutdowns at its Methanol and Dimethylformamide units, the company said in a statement.

The scheduled maintenance will take place for 21 days until March 1.

Chemanol will carry out regular maintenance work to sustain operational efficiency and reliability of the two plants, it said.

The repairs will not affect operations at the company's other plants.
