Dammam Airports Company (DACO) will finalize this year a master plan for King Fahd International Airport’s (KFIA) development over the next 30 years, Turki Al-Jawini, DACO’s chief executive, told reporters.

Turkish and Azerbaijani airlines were licensed to provide services at the airport.

Meanwhile, talks are ongoing with other European carriers and details will be announced later on, Al-Jawini said.

Passenger traffic at the airport hit 9.7 million in 2017, he added.
