Saudi Electricity Co. launches power bill installment plan

11/08/2018 Argaam

Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) launched on Thursday Tayseer program, which offers installment options for residential customers whose monthly power bills range from SAR 300 to SAR 3,000.

Customers will be automatically registered on the program starting this month with an option to stay until the end of year, or exit the program, SEC said on its Twitter account.

Users with bills less than SAR 300 or above SAR 3,000 can subscribe to the Fixed Bill service, to pay a fixed monthly amount based on their average consumption. After one year, the actual consumption will be settled.

Meanwhile, all subscribers can pay accumulated debt prior to July in six monthly installments starting from October’s bill, the firm said.
