Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) has directed the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to post a quarterly report on listed companies’ ownership in subsidiaries and affiliates, the Kingdom’s market regulator said in a statement.

The report comes in line with the CMA’s strategy aimed at enhancing transparency and credibility.

The Saudi market regulator in October 2016 approved regulations pertaining to the corporate law, aimed at diversifying investment products, strengthening the role of the Saudi capital market in providing the necessary funding for projects, developing financial stability, and boosting transparency and governance.
