Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), fined the Kingdom’s three major telecom service providers for violations, it said on Thursday.
Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) was fined a total of SAR 12.47 million for violations of the telecom system.
Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) was fined a total of SAR 1.65 million, while Saudi Zain was fined SAR 296,000.
All the penalties are final, the regulator said.
